I hinted to this on our Twitter feed and now it's done! All of the new graphic novels and print novels on the web store are now 15% off the cover price! Now that we no longer have to worry about paying for retail space, we can adjust our prices to be a little more competitive with other on-line anime web stores. Originally, all of our new books on our web store were roughly around 10% off cover price. With the change in business model, we can now offer a hard 15%. All the better for you!
Now, this does not include used books, nor Japanese language manga, nor comic magazines like Shonen Jump. This price will not be valid for purchases made at our dealer's booths at conventions, that has it's own discount. This is for web store purchases only. So start shopping now! And remember, free shipping for orders over $100! |

We finally got around to doing something we had been planning on, but were going to wait until we moved. We have reduced the prices on our Used DVDs AGAIN! Now most of our used DVDs are $4.95, UNDER $5 each!
This, of course, excludes the consignment DVDs, where the people we are selling them for set their price, but even them, most of those are $10 or less. So pick up a bargain, replace that scratched disc or complete that collection today |

Time has gotten away from us again. In the dust of the move, we have not had a chance to truly update the website properly. We still do not have full-time internet here at the office, but we hope to have that cleared up in a couple weeks. The convention calendar is also out of date and I'll be fixing that soon. So my sincerest apologies to everyone about our being somewhat out of communication. Soon we will be back on the road again so we can really start getting into the swing of our new business model now that the expense of the retail space is finally off our backs.
Meantime, we have some store fixtures we are trying to get rid of. I will be posting a link to the Craigslist listings as soon as new photos are taken. |

Sorry about this, but we've been so wrapped up in moving that we've been neglecting to get the word out, outside of a quick Twitter post. So here it is. The lease is up and it's time to go. And since we are no longer going to be a retail shop, the new place is an office/warehouse. The hours will still be 10am-5pm Monday through Friday. But as many of you have seen, we will be frequently closed for conventions. Still, we will be open to those wishing to pick up hold-box items, special orders, or webstore orders or to drop off consignments. The phone number will remain the same.

Well, we're still getting things adjusted here at Gimme Anime, including some upgrades. As you can see, the storefront has changed a bit with an upgrade in our front-end software. This allows us to add modules to show our Twitter feed and allows you to add links to your favorite social site like Facebook. We have also changed our forum software, but don't worry, all of the log-in information and posts were moved over. However, if there is a problem, shot us an e-mail and we'll get it fixed.
Look for more integration and upgrades in the future. |
