 We have returned from AnimeFest in Dallas over the Labor Day weekend. I attended AnimeFest in the mid-90's when I lived in Austin for a couple of years and there was a decent sized group of us from Denver who attended Project A-kon from 2-10, so going back to Dallas was a bit of a homecoming.

We will be attending AnimeFest in Dallas, Texas over Labor Day Weekend. So the shop will be closed from Thursday, August 28th, through Tuesday, September 2nd. We will return to normal hours on Wednesday. So if you will be attending down in Dallas, stop by and say 'hi'. Rental Special: For all of those staying here this weekend, good news for you! Any DVDs due within the weekend we will be gone will now be due on Wednesday, September 3rd. So you can get a 7 night rental for the price of 2 nights! Stock up for your Labor Day festivities. |

We have returned safely from Wichita, despite my difficulty in driving the van (my feet don't touch the floor, and barely touch the pedals), and the road construction right inside the Colorado border, causing me to drive white-nuckeled for several miles. To anyone that was behind me at that time, I'm sorry for going so slow! We had a great time at AFW! The convention far exceeded our expectations. It was well organized, and well run, with a very helpful, generous staff. We've already signed up for next year (July 10-12). |
