After 8 years of serving the Denver Metro area, Gimme Anime will be closing its doors as a retail shop for the last time on Saturday, January 30th, 2010. After that, its location will be the office of Gimme Anime.com, which the focus of Gimme Anime will be on its webstore and conventions locally and across the country. This office will only be open until 5pm Monday through Friday, closed on the weekends, and subject to closure due to conventions and other related events. By the end of April, Gimme Anime will be moved to a new location to be determined. Watch the website at www.gimmeanime.com for details. As noted, we are not going out of business, but simply changing how we do business. There will be no going-out-of-business sale. We will still have a business location in the Denver Metro area. We will still be seen at Animeland Wasabi , Starfest , the Colorado Cherry Blossom Festival , and Nan Desu Kan , plus other events locally. There will be, of course, changes in how we do things. So if you have hold boxes, consignments, special orders, or other questions, hit the link below. |

Well, now that the convention season is over, we can concentrate on other projects here at the store. One of these projects is some discounting of items. The majority of our USED DVDs have been reduced from $9.95 to $7.95 each effective immediately. Over 20% off!. Also, our new American-release CDs have been reduced from $14.95 to $9.95 each, over 30% off! Just in time for the holidays! Get them while you can! As a side note, we will be closed all of the usual holidays this year to spend time with family and friends. So we will be closed November 26th for Thanksgiving, December 25th for Christmas and January 1st, 2010 for New Year's. We will also be closing at 5pm on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. |

So it's been a while since we updated the front end. Sorry about that, but we had the crazy amount of conventions, plus some unplanned time consumers, like colds. So we are now busy busting our butts to get everything caught up. Check out our webstore and see all the new products, including a crazy amount of pencil boards that we just got in. In the coming weeks, we will also have more Japanese language manga, figures, models and more! Also, we are coming up to our last 2 conventions of the year, Motaku in Kansas City and Anime Nebraskon in Omaha, NE. As usual, we will be closed for those weekends, but we have no events planned until January 2010 once those are over. Due to Motaku and Mile Hi Con happening on the 4th weekend, Denver Anime International will be meeting on Saturday, October 31st this month. |
