After 8 years of serving the Denver Metro area, Gimme Anime will be closing its doors as a retail shop for the last time on Saturday, January 30th, 2010. After that, its location will be the office of Gimme Anime.com, which the focus of Gimme Anime will be on its webstore and conventions locally and across the country. This office will only be open until 5pm Monday through Friday, closed on the weekends, and subject to closure due to conventions and other related events. By the end of April, Gimme Anime will be moved to a new location to be determined. Watch the website at www.gimmeanime.com for details.

As noted, we are not going out of business, but simply changing how we do business. There will be no going-out-of-business sale. We will still have a business location in the Denver Metro area. We will still be seen at Animeland Wasabi , Starfest , the Colorado Cherry Blossom Festival , and Nan Desu Kan , plus other events locally. There will be, of course, changes in how we do things. Hold Boxes

Current Customers: For those of you currently with hold boxes, we will be happy to continue the service for you. We will offer you free shipping to thank you for your business with us, though you will have the option of arranging to pick up your items at our office if you choose We would ask to put a credit card on file with us so we don't need to worry about transmitting it each time you wish to get the items in your box shipped to you.

New Customers: If you wish to start a hold box with us, either set up an account with us during business hours or e-mail us to find out how to set up an account remotely. You will have the option of picking up your items or having them shipped to you.

Consignments

We will still be taking and selling consignments. The terms will remain the same. Please be sure that we have up-to-date contact information so that we can get hold of you. For a limited time, we will be suspending consignment payments and we will resume them in March, which is why we want to make sure we have current contact information.

Because we are not going to be a retail shop anymore, we will no longer be accepting some items and will return those particular items we currently have. They are:

• VHS tapes
• Collectible Card Games (Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, etc)
• Fan Art

You are free to pick these items up at any time or make arrangements with us to get them to you.

Special Orders

For those of you who put down money for special orders, we will still honor your orders and will fill  them as soon as humanly possible. If feel the need to cancel your order, we will not be able to refund the money down until March.

Gift Cards

We will continue to honor our gift cards, but will not sell anymore of the physical ones. If you want to, we can convert physical gift cards into webstore gift certificates.
